As someone who helps people resolve conflicts without going to court, I wanted to create a business with a practical approach to solving problems.
After serving in the Royal Canadian Navy for almost 19 years, I attained the rank of Petty Officer Second Class and received recognition for my leadership and initiative.
I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management at Royal Roads University, building on my Bachelor of Arts in Justice. I have completed the Workplace Investigation Training and Certificate Program offered through Human Resource Professionals Associations to conduct harassment investigations.
My passion for alternative dispute resolution has led me to complete mediation and arbitration programs with organizations such as Restorative Justice Cowichan, where I also volunteer as a mentor and facilitator.
I am dedicated to preserving the environment and supporting the community in the MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat) and Quw’utsun territories. My family and I have chosen to reside in Cobble Hill, BC, where we appreciate the area's beauty and tranquillity.
Additionally, I am actively involved with the Cobble Hill Improvement District, contributing to the betterment of our community.
When free time allows, I am a proud member & musician with the Cowichan Pipes and Drums, where I play the bagpipes.
